All Aboard for the Six-month Cayman Visitors Permit

The pirates came ashore Saturday amidst sounds of cannon and musket fire as part of Cayman's week long carnival, although they could have saved themelves the trouble with a new 6-month visitors permit!

The Cayman cabinet has approved a six-month visitor pass for overseas property owners to be able to stay at their holiday homes. This eliminates the previous requirement for property owners to go back to the Immigration Department every 30 days to have their passports re-stamped if they were looking for an extended stay in Cayman. Visitors who own property in Cayman and have the financial ability to support themselves can now obtain a six-month permit to enjoy their Caribbean lifesyle before having to leave the islands.

So great news for all the "snow birds" who like to escape cold North American or European winters and all those who are thinking about realising their dream and buying a holiday home or second residence in Cayman.

With the government encouraging real estate investment in a tax-neutral regime, isn't it about time you clicked here to start your own Cayman property search ?
